Calcium (as carbonate) 750mg; chew tabs; wintergreen, assorted berry, assorted fruit, or tropical fruit flavors.

Therapeutic Use:

Indications for TUMS E-X:

Acid indigestion, heartburn, upset or sour stomach.

Adult:

2–4 tabs as symptoms occur; max 10 tabs/day for 2 weeks.

Children:

Not recommended.

Warnings/Precautions:

Hypoparathyroidism.

Interactions:

Calcium blocks absorption of tetracyclines. May affect absorption of other drugs. Absorption blocked by corticosteroids, foods such as rhubarb, spinach, bran.
